Starting in Japan, they travelled to 8 countries across 4 continents, including remote parts of Costa Rica and campervanning across Australia/New Zealand. Sarah recounts the highs and lows, the challenges, and what it taught her about herself and motherhood. She also unravels the myths behind travelling with babies, the societal pressures parents face and shares fantastic tips for parents who want to take the plunge.
But this is more than just a story about travel. It’s about a new mum who lost her identify when her new-born daughter came into the world and turned her life upset down. It’s about how a long road trip helped a new mum reclaim her identity. And it’s a journey many parents, especially new mums, will relate to.
